Warm Weather Necessities
As you all know, I am aaalways on the go. My travels have taken me from the steamy tropics of Thailand to my snowy hometown of Winnipeg, so I learned very quickly that customized skincare based on the destination is a MUST. With that being said, I’m so excited to share my warm weather product picks from my latest trip to Miami and the Bahamas!
Eve Lom
Between the heat and humidity, things can get a little sticky. That’s why I reach for my Eve Lom Gel Balm Cleanser. A gel cleanser is ideal for warmer weather because it’s lightweight and thoroughly cleanses the skin, so it really removes impurities from the face. This will leave you with fresh, happy skin so you can be photo-ready for the beach!
Elta MD
If you’re headed for sunshine, you need sunscreen. A sunscreen for the face should be carefully selected, but my favorite comes from ELTA MD Skincare. I use the UV Physical Broad-Spectrum in SPF 41 every day, but I especially love this for travel. This product does it all - it offers light coverage, physical sun protection, and it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin! I can’t leave home without this product, so definitely check this out!
Sisley
Every minute counts when you’re on vacation, so pack accordingly! The Sisely Radiant Glow Express Mask packs an absorbent red clay in addition to plant extracts and essential oils, leaving the skin clean and supple for another day at the beach. Did I mention that this mask only needs five minutes to do it’s magic? I can’t live without this!
L'Occitane
Planning on tanning? There’s no better way to compliment that fresh glow than with smooth, hydrated skin. The sun can be so dehydrating, so it’s important to keep up with moisture from your head to your toes. My go-to is L’occitane's Almond Oil Body Spray! The smell alone will turn heads, but I love it because it’s so easy to apply and feels amazing on the skin. Don’t forget to pack this if you plan on showing off your sun-kissed skin!
Frank Body
Last, but certainly not least, is Frank Body’s Cherry Bomb Lip Scrub. As much as I love the sun, it can be very unkind to the gentle skin on my lips. Daily scrubs keep my lips soft, pillowy, and smooth despite any flakiness due to the sun. Muah!
